TAUNTON Titans are hoping to gain revenge on Henley Hawks at the Commsplus Stadium tomorrow (ko 3pm).

The Hawks spoiled the Titans’ winning start to last season, triumphing 42-31 at Hyde Park, but head coach Tony Yapp is confident his second-placed side can avoid a repeat.

Yapp said: “I have watched them a few times this season and we know, as we found out last year, that they can score from anywhere.

“Both sides are strong in attack so it should be an exciting game, but we can’t allow them to throw the ball around. We are quietly confident.”

Yapp went on to say he was not overly concerned by his side’s defence despite shipping 36 points in the win at bottom side London Irish Wild Geese last time out.

“We were a little bit sloppy but they played really well - it was a reminder as to the quality in this league,” he said.

“Julian Salvi is working hard with the squad on defence and I think we will improve.”

Taunton have made several changes for this weekend's match, with Aron Struminski unavailable and Corry Teague having picked up an injury.
