Bright will link up with Wayne Sprangle, who has also joined Albion this season as a player-coach for the 2018 season.
Albion director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “We are delighted that Richard Bright will also be joining Albion as a player-coach.
“Richard is an experienced player having having played a good level of rugby for many years, who currently plays at full-back but can also play on the wing.”
Bright said: “I am really looking forward to getting stuck in at Bridgwater & Albion. Having known about the club, I am looking forward to coaching, playing and helping everyone get to where the club deserves.”
