West Club’s Women’s League
Sedgemoor Division 2
Chard 4, Bridgwater 2nds 0

BRIDGWATER ladies 2nds were always up against it in their first match of 2018, as they travelled to Chard, who had won nine out of nine before Christmas.

And the hosts made it 10 from 10 with a 4-0 victory, as Emma Cridland, Sasha Taylor, Evie Dewhurst and Kate Phillips scored.

That leaves Bridgwater sixth in the Sedgemoor 2 standings, and this coming Saturday (December 13, 10.30am start) they are at home to fifth-placed Taw Valley 2nds, who are three points ahead of them.

BRIDGWATER ladies 1sts return to action after the festive break this Saturday, as they travel to their Taw Valley counterparts (11.30am).

Bridgwater are sixth in the Central Division table, with their hosts currently in eighth place.
