FORMER player, captain and now president of Somerset County Cricket Club, Roy Kerslake, will be present at the club’s Bridgwater and West Somerset area annual meeting which is being held next week.
Roy will be accompanied by the county club’s chief executive, Guy Lavender, at the meeting which is being held at St Audries Bay Holiday Club on Tuesday, November 12, starting at 7.30pm.
Chairman of the area committee, Viv Brewer, said he was delighted that both Roy and Guy were attending: “It gives us the opportunity to talk to them about the club and its plans for the future.
“They will also give a slide show presentation which should interest many people.”
During the meeting, elections for officers and the committee for the coming year will take place, plus the final draw for the 100 Club, with the top two winners receiving £250 and £100, respectively.
