Bridgwater Mercury: Enmore Ladies who played at Oake Manor

However, it was not all smooth sailing.

Despite strong performances in friendly matches at the Oake Manor Golf Club and Lyme Regis, the Enmore Ladies and the mixed team of 16 respectively fell short to their competitors.

The Enmore Seniors experienced a similar fate at Clevedon, where their home team claimed a narrow victory.

In other news, the Avalon League was in full swing, with Enmore facing Stockwood Vale.

Stockwood emerged triumphant, carting off the match win by nine points to four and a half.

Lastly, the Enmore Seniors established a strong lead in their Somerset Bowl match against Taunton and Pickeridge.

The team of Mike Lloyd, Martyn Clapp, Martyn Acland, Neil Whisler, and Mike Rossiter all emerged as victors, leading at 5-0.
