BRIDGWATER United club legend Jack Taylor has 're-joined' the club after a period away in late 2023.

Taylor left for Corsham Town at the end of November, 2023, but that was on dual-registration with Bridgwater United.

So even though Bridgwater confirmed Taylor's return on Wednesday, January 3 in an announcement, he technically has always been a Robin.

The club said: "Jack Taylor is re-united! The talismanic striker couldn't stay away and now he is back where he belongs.

"We are sure you are all excited to see him return after we all thought he had left us."

Taylor did leave to go and play for Corsham, in that time he managed to get on the scoresheet three times.

The club added: "We would like to thank Nigel and Chris of Chris's Bar in Thailand for bringing back our very own superstar.

"Wacko, welcome back home to Bridgwater United, one of the greatest goal scorers ever to grace Bridgwater as he closes in on the top scorer record."
