A YOUNG cricketer from Bridgwater Cricket Club has been selected by Somerset CCC to represent their U15s team on a tour of Sri Lanka.
Brody Brigden has been impressing for Bridgwater CC for a couple of years now and the selection backs that up.
Bridgwater CC congratulated Brody on the call up. A spokesperson said: "Everyone at BCC would like to congratulate Brody Brigden on being selected to represent Somerset County Cricket U15s on their upcoming tour to Sri Lanka.
"Good luck mate from all at Bridgwater Cricket Club."
To help with funding for the tour, Somerset CCCC are holding a raffle to help subsidise the costs of the tour.
There are some super prizes on offer and 100% of ticket sales sold by Brody goes towards his trip, so Bridgwater CC is asking for your support.
