A BRIDGWATER teenager is boxing in the town for a regional title tomorrow (Saturday, December 2).
George Lane, aged 16, is fighting at the BMA Fight Night for the South West Fight League title.
The BMA is the Boxing and Martial Arts centre located in East Quay in Bridgwater.
George goes to a local school and spends all his spare time boxing.
He started at 14 and has had six undefeated fights so far.
George loves boxing and said: “I feel proud of myself.”
He is being sponsored by a local family business that has a history of sponsoring the youth in the local community, especially young local boxers who are doing something positive about their boundless energy by turning them into boxing thereby giving inspiration to their peers.
The RK Bell Group, which owns Gworks Surfacing and Civil Engineering, is sponsoring George.
