Crews were called to Bawdrip Lane at 1am, with two pumps from Bridgwater and one from Taunton heading to the scene.
Upon arrival the crews found the barn to well alight and swiftly got to work to douse the flames.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed that the cause was believed to have been deliberate.
