Brilliant Bridgwater students have been inspired by a visit to a top university.
Fifty Year 10 students at Robert Blake Science College visited Cardiff Metropolitan University to get a flavour of what university is like.
Just last month student Klaudia Redwelska, aged 15, had her First Class Degree Standard article on Marine Biology published in a national magazine.
Now, 50 of her fellow students have sat in lecture theatres, been inspired by the range of courses on offer, met Undergraduate students, and taken part in a question and answer session with students and lecturers.
Headteacher Deb Loveridge said: “This was a remarkable trip and the students enjoyed every minute of it.
"We are eager to give all our students the chance to see all the tremendous opportunities open to them.”
