THE next bout for Bridgwater UFC star Mark Godbeer has been announced.

The Somerset heavyweight, nicknamed 'The Hand Of...', will take on UFC newcomer Dmitry Poberezhets at UFC Fight Night, London, at The O2 on March 17.

Godbeer was last in action at UFC 217, where he defeated Walt Harris, who was disqualified after landing a low blow and following it up with a kick to the head after the referee intervened.

Now, the Bridgwater bruiser will be looking to make it three wins in a row, after a previous win against Daniel Spitz.

"Poberezhets, meanwhile, will be hoping to make a lasting impression in his UFC debut and, with no less than 12 first round TKO/KO victories on his record, we can expect the Ukrainian powerhouse to be looking for a quick finish with which to upset the English crowd," said a UFC spokesman.
