AN actress who went to a primary school near Bridgwater is appearing alongside some of the world's most famous stars in the new Batman movie.

Juno Temple, who attended Enmore Primary School and King's College, Taunton, stars as Holly Robinson in The Dark Knight Rises, which premiered on Friday.

Ms Temple plays an accomplice of Anne Hathaway's character Selina Kyle.

The star-studded cast also includes Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Christian Bale as Batman.

Ms Temple, who now lives in America, is the daughter of film director Julien Temple.

Despite only turning 23 on Saturday, she has already starred in several high-profile films, including Atonement, alongside Keira Knightley, Notes on a Scandal, alongside Cate Blanchett and Dame Judi Dench, and The Other Boleyn Girl, which stars Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
