EIGHTY students from schools across Bridgwater performed a dance routine in front of more than 80,000 fans at the Aviva Premiership Rugby final.
While fans watched Harlequins lift the title by beating Leicester Tigers, students from Chilton Trinity, East Bridgwater, Haygrove and Robert Blake schools were focused on their performance.
The opportunity came about as part of the ‘Give It A Go!’ Twickenham dance project 2012 and saw students dance alongside 400 other children from all over the UK.
Mike King, of the Sedgemoor Learning Alliance, said: “I’d like to thank all the staff and students involved for their support, dedication and hard work.
“It was a great team effort for Bridgwater and certainly helped to put us on an international stage once again.”
