TWO CHURCH concerts have raised £434 for Bridgwater based charity Bibic.
The fundraising events were held at St George's Church in Wembdon and Michael the Archangel, Alcombe, last month in aid of the charity, which gives practical therapy to children with disabilities, learning difficulties and behavioural problems including cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome and autism and ADHD.
Mary Rowe, a volunteer and member of St George's Church congregation, said “It was a fabulous evening for everybody. They were great children involved in the choir and orchestra, they came from all backgrounds. Thank you to all that came”.
The East Midlands Youth String Orchestra and Nottingham Youth Voices performed at the Music For Everyone event.
