THREE fire crews from Bridgwater tackled a chimney fire at a property in Broadway, Chilton Polden, last night.
When crews arrived shortly before 6pm, they discovered the fire had spread to an oak beam.
Crews removed a wood burning stove so they could tackle the flames. The ground floor was damaged by smoke.
