A FORTNIGHT of spectacular Bridgwater Carnival Concerts at the town hall drew to a close last night…..with Gremlins CC walking off stage with the top prize.
Gremlins’ fantastic entry, Go West, claimed the White Hart Cup for best feature or tableau entry.
Last year’s winners Ramblers had to settle for second, and the Elizabeth Ann James Cup, with Fathoms Below, while British Flag were third, and received the Barrie Lintern Trophy, for The Eyes of Notre Dame.
Other winners included the Sally Williams Dancers, who took the Starkey Cup for best dancing troupe, and Ian Howard, who won the Judges Cup for best single vocalist.
