BRIDGWATER based firm Pollard marked its 150th anniversary with a celebration black tie dinner at the Castle Hotel in Taunton on May 7.
Joined by clients and consultants past and present, together with principal guest Hugh Pollard – the last generation of the Pollard family prior to the management buy out in 1997 – the evening was an opportunity to reflect on reaching such a momentous milestone and thank those present for their continued support.
The evening was rounded off by guest speaker David Duckham MBE, ex-England rugby union international and former British Lion, and a hugely entertaining performance by local magician David Beckley.
Chairman David Nisbet said: “With the support of our clients and the strong team we have at Pollard I am confident that this milestone just marks the beginning of the next chapter of this respected company.”
