THE verdict in the trial of the former police inspector accused of the involuntary manslaughter of a Bridgwater dad and his daughter is due today in France.
Keith Bridges is charged with the involuntary manslaughter of Andrew and Gabriella Dyer, from Church Path, in a car crash in the Dordogne region of France three years ago.
He also faces the same charge relating to the death of his partner Julie Bridges and her daughter Bethany Lowe.
The Mercury believes the verdict will be given at around 3pm.
