A CONVICTED sex offender has been jailed for 18 months – after being found near Bridgwater wearing women’s clothes.
David John Harris, aged 42, was spotted wearing the clothing at a lay-by off Puriton Hill on October 18.
This put him in breach of a sexual offences prevention order - because he had worn women’s clothing in a previous attack on a woman.
Harris, of Stonehouse, in Gloucestershire, was sentenced this week at Taunton Crown Court, having pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing at Sedgemoor Magistrates Court.
