SEDGEMOOR District Council chairman Jane Moreton handed over a special Armed Forces Day flag to Bridgwater mayor's cadet Beau Bussell at a district council meeting on Wednesday.
Beau said: “As the mayor's cadet for this year, I am pleased and honoured on behalf of the Cadet Forces, ex-service personnel and organisations and the town of Bridgwater, to receive the Armed Forces Day flag from Sedgemoor District Council for safe keeping.
“We will collectively ensure that the Armed Forces Day is justly remembered in future years with this flag as a symbol of respect for service to this country.”
