POLICE have warned neighbours to be on the lookout for distraction burglars, after a handbag containing cash, credit cards and keys was stolen from a house in Bridgwater yesterday (Tuesday).
Two suspects entered a house in Queen’s Road uninvited at around 2.45pm, claiming to make enquiries about the occupant's tress.
They then took the handbag from the property.
The first man is described as white, in his late 20's or early 30's, 5ft 10ins tall and of a stocky build.
He was possibly wearing a brown coat.
The second suspect is described as white, younger and shorter than the first man, wearing a black coat.
