A MAN whose body was found in his home near Bridgwater on Saturday night may have lain undiscovered for up to THREE weeks.
Police made the grizzly find after being tipped off by a neighbour, who had become concerned at mounting post on the man's doorstep and at receiving no response when he knocked on the window - despite the TV and lights being switched on.
The neighbour told the Mercury a specialist team wearing gas-proof suits was also called to the supported housing scheme bungalow in Longstone Close, Nether Stowey, where they found the man, aged 50, dead in his bed.
