'No cold calling' in Ashcott
A NO cold calling zone has been set up by police and Sedgemoor District Council in the Ridgeway area of Ashcott.
Residents raised concerns about cold callers in the area, following an incident where an elderly resident was persuaded to pay an exaggerated price for goods sold to them by a door-to-door salesman.
The zone tells cold callers they are not welcome in the area.
