A BLAZE in Bridgwater in the early hours of this morning was out by the time fire crews arrived Firefighters attended the incident involving the front door and porch area of a home in Dukes Mead shortly after 1.30am.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The fire is believed to have been deliberate ignition.
"Duty of care was left with the occupier and all details handed to the police for further investigation."
