A BRIDGWATER beauty trainee has scooped bronze in the national final of the WorldSkills UK competition.
Hayley Wright, 17, (pictured) an apprentice in beauty therapy at Weston College won gold in the regional heat before finishing a credible third in the final heat held in Luton.
Tanita Veal from the college’s business enterprise centre said: “We are absolutely thrilled Hayley did so well in the national final of the WorldSkills competition.
“She worked very hard in preparing for the competition and had lots of help and support from her tutors, parents and employers.
“All of this hard work has been justified by winning the bronze award and we’d like to congratulate her on her magnificent achievement.”
