Calling the tradespeople of Bridgwater – what if there was a builders’ merchant designed to help you grow your business, with experts on hand to support your projects, and free food and drink to get your day started? Head over to Jewson Bridgwater at East Quay, and you’ll find exactly that.
At Jewson Bridgwater – one of our new Branches of the Future – we’re proud to partner the trades. Our new branch has been recently refurbished to offer you – the UK’s hardworking builders and professional tradespeople – all the products and services you need to work smarter, fill your order books and meet your customers’ needs.
Here, Jewson Bridgwater branch manager Richie explains everything we’ve put in place and why it will make a difference to you and your business.
A brand new look, in a branch designed for you
“You might have noticed something different about Jewson lately. Earlier this year we rolled out a new brand identity and Bridgwater was the very first of our branches to be kitted out in the updated signage during its refurbishment, showing just how important this community is to us.
“The number of products available in store has increased from 3,000 to 4,500 – a whopping 40% more stock than a typical Jewson branch – providing you with everything you need for your projects under one roof. And because we know time is of the essence when you visit us, we’ve located product assortments in line with what we know builders, carpenters, roofers, landscapers and more need to complete a whole job, and they’re positioned close together for efficiency when you shop.
“We also offer modern meeting rooms so you can bring in customers to chat about their projects and show them the products you’ll be using to transform their homes.”
The services – and perks! – you need to build your business
“As well as our huge product range, at Jewson Bridgwater you can hire a range of specialist tools so you can say yes to more jobs. And now, more of our stock – including treated timber – is stored undercover, protected from the rain and cold. You can even drive into the pick-up area and load your van under shelter, which will make a difference on those cold, wet days.
“We know that the morning can be a busy and stressful time when you work in the trade so at Jewson Bridgwater we open earlier, with the branch fully staffed at 6.30am, giving you the time you need to pick up materials and still be the first person to site. To get your day started the right way, there’s high quality hot food and drink available, so you’ll never need to work on an empty stomach.
“We’re open right through to 5:30pm, so if you need to grab any more materials during the day, our doors are open. Plus, we’ve added more delivery vehicles to our fleet so you can arrange for products to be dropped at site in line with your project timelines.”
Our in-branch experts
“When you visit Jewson Bridgwater, you’ll get a friendly welcome from one of our team who’ll take the time to find out exactly what you’re working on, what’s going well, any challenges you’re facing and how we can help you. Our job is to work in partnership with you so you can deliver an exceptional service to your customers, and our colleagues are committed to helping you make that difference. We want you to be excited when you arrive and be excited about coming back again.
“The improvements we’ve made at Jewson Bridgwater are an example of the steps we’re taking to become the most trusted builders’ merchant for UK builders and tradespeople – the hardworking people who are the backbone of the nation’s construction industry when it comes to building communities, I look forward to welcoming you through our doors very soon.”
