AGE UK is hosting a free drop-in event to offer information and advice at Bridgwater Library next month.
The charity has invited anyone who is 60 or over or who cares for someone who is, to stop by and speak with Somerset Age UK information and advice officers at Bridgwater Library, Binford Place.
The drop-in event will run from 10am to 12:30pm on Wednesday, August 7.
Advice is free and confidential, with officers available to answer all questions "on matters ranging from financial advice or housing to social care or local activities" and more.
A spokesperson for Age UK said: "In the coming months, if you're looking for free information and advice, you don't have to come to our office. We are coming out to you.
"You will find our information and advice officers out and about in the community around Somerset and North Somerset, we are there to to provide useful information.
"So please come along, say hello and ask your questions. No appointment is necessary, just come along. The service is free, confidential, and for anyone over 60 in Somerset and North Somerset, as well as their families and those that care for them.
"If we don't know the answer, we will know someone who will."
