WITH the bank holiday weekend now well under way, where are the best beer gardens in and around Bridgwater?

Many of us will be eyeing up pubs to spend our extra day off work in, and with the weather set to be somewhat warm, beer gardens are definitely on the cards.

The Met Office has forecast a comfortable high of 15 degrees Celsius for bank holiday Monday, May 6.

2. Combwich Anchor

If you find yourself nearer to the bay this weekend, this pub in Combwich may be the place to go.

Situated near to the River Parrett, the beer garden looks out onto the water, the perfect way to savour the rare weather - it's even near a playground to keep the children busy.

3. King Sedgemoor Inn

4. The Puriton Inn

5. The Duck at Burtle
