FIRE crews from Burnham-on-Sea recently attended a vehicle fire in East Huntspill.
Firefighters were called to Chesnut Close on the evening of Friday, April 26, as a black BMW 3-series caught fire.
As Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews dealt with the blaze, smoke could be seen pouring from the vehicle's boot, where the battery resides.
Multiple firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea Fire Station opened the car's doors and used a hose to extinguish the fire.

"One fire crew attended and extinguished a fire in the boot with a hose reel jet."
Back in January, Burnham-on-Sea Fire Station crews tackled a huge fire at Mole Valley Farmers Mill on Bridge Street in Uffculme, after the entire building was engulfed by flames.
