A PRE-SCHOOL between Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea has been commended by Ofsted in a report following a recent inspection.

Pawlett Pre-School was rated 'good' overall by Ofsted, and in all areas separately following a full inspection on Monday, February 26.

In the report, the inspector commended the manager's 'ambitious curriculum' which focuses largely on children's wellbeing and has led to them becoming 'happy, independent learners'.

"Children are heard to exclaim, 'Look what I did', proud of their achievements," the inspector wrote.
