SOMERSET Council has proposed a 30mph speed limit on selected lengths of road in Enmore.

The speed limit will come into force on Enmore Road from a point 200 metres west of its junction with Broomfield Hall Lane extending easterly for a distance of 291 metres.

It will also affect another segment of Enmore Road starting 169 metres southwest of its junction with Stone Hall Lane and extending in a south westerly direction for 885 metres.

The limit will also be introduced on Broomfield Hall Lane from its junction with Enmore Road extending south for 27 metres.

The council is looking to bring in the speed limit to reduce danger to people and other drivers.
