A Taunton homebuilder showed its support for education by donating £1,500 to a local primary school.

Strongvox Homes made the contribution to Nether Stowey C of E Primary School.

The funds will enable the school to purchase a large variety of books from the Collins Big Cat series, designed to support children's reading journey from phonics to fluency.

The donation was gratefully accepted by head teacher Chloe Holt, who accepted it from Strongvox Homes's land director Simon Tannahill and sales manager Georgina Lindsay on March 14.

This donation reflects Strongvox Homes’ commitment to supporting the communities where it operates, including Nether Stowey, Somerset, location of their Cricketer Farm development.
