Bridgwater Carnival grandstand tickets go on sale this week

Preparations are already well underway to ensure this year's carnival on Saturday, November 2, is the biggest and best yet - and grandstand tickets will be available from Friday, March 1, at 9am.

Costing £30 each, the highly sought after tickets can be purchased online from Bridgwater Carnival’s official website shop at https://www.bridgwatercarnival.org.uk/product/grandstand-seat/.

Alternatively, they can be bought from the Carnival Centre on the High Street.

Those buying tickets online will for the first time be able to choose their specific seats for the grandstands.

Last year, all 1,954 grandstand tickets were sold weeks in advance of the big day, despite the increase in the cost of living across the country.

Karen Gibbs, Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival’s Commercial Director, said: “Grandstand seats provide an ideal opportunity to watch our carnival in relative comfort, and if you would like to buy tickets, our advice would be to do so as soon as possible.

“The tickets are regularly offered as part of package deals by coach companies and local hotels, and we have already received many enquiries about them for this year’s carnival.

“We will continue to do everything we can to keep the price of our grandstand tickets affordable.

"There are only a handful of grandstand suppliers in the country, and despite the suppliers once again raising their hire costs, there has only been a slight increase in the cost of our grandstand tickets for this year."

Hospitality packages for this year's Bridgwater Carnival are now currently available, and include a grandstand seat, reserved parking, a hot meal, a drink, and a souvenir programme for the price of £70.
