SOME lucky residents on a road in Bridgwater have won over £1,000 each in the postcode lottery this week.
There were five winning tickets in postcode TA6 4RE (Parkway) which won the £1,000 Daily Prize on Monday, February 5.
One of the four winners had two of the winning tickets, meaning they were awarded £2,000 - whilst the remaining three players each won £1,000.
Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “I’m so pleased for our winners in Bridgwater.
"I hope they treat themselves to something special with their prize money.”
There have been a few big wins in the Bridgwater area previously.
In August 2017, players in TA6 5DJ won the £30,000 Street Prize, and in September 2019, players in TA6 4EU also won the Street Prize of £30,000 each per ticket.
In September 2023 it was revealed that the TA postcode was the seventh luckiest in the Postcode Lottery.
Research found there has been over 320 wins in the TA postcode area, which has a population of around 350,000 - meaning more than 90 people per 100,000 of the population have pocketed a prize.
