THE world's leading electric vehicle manufacturer recently invited Bridgwater and Taunton College (BTC) students to get up close and personal with some of their most impressive vehicles.

Tesla recently opened a new showroom in Exeter, and the company invited automotive students from the college for an exclusive insight day.

Shortly after, Tesla came to BTC to give the students another insight into some Tesla models and delivered a presentation about potential career paths.

Thanks to both of these experiences, BTC automotive students engaged in interactive sessions and gained first-hand knowledge about the technology, design, and engineering that makes up all Tesla vehicles.

The students also had the chance to ask in-depth questions about electric vehicles, learning directly from Tesla’s experts about the intricacies of EV technology and the future of automotive innovation.

Speaking on the experience, Leo, an automotive student at the college, said: “Going to the new Tesla showroom was an insightful experience.

"It gave me more knowledge of how advanced Tesla is as a company.

"I got to see inside the Tesla workshop, and the employees were enthusiastic to answer our questions.

"The entire experience was exciting and engaging overall.”
