THE toilet facilities of a popular pub in Bridgwater town centre have been commended after an inspection by officials from the Loo of the Year Awards 2023.
The Carnival Inn Wetherspoons on St Mary Street has earned itself Platinum Plus honours for its toilets, scoring highly across its men's, women's, and accessible bathrooms.
A spokesperson for the Loo of the Year Awards explained that Platinum Plus is the second highest rating possible, lower only than diamond, which is very rarely given out.
Inspectors judge all toilets to 101 different criteria in order to give the most accurate and respectable rating possible.
These criteria include cleanliness, health and safety, décor, and many more categories.
The awards ceremony to crown the UK and Ireland's best loos at both national and regional levels will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum on Thursday January 18 2024.
Until then, The Carnival Inn is officially the finest spot in Bridgwater to do your business.
