IT was lovely to see the picture of the two Fjord horses pulling a chariot on Berrow Beach. I have a 32-year-old Fjord mare who retired three years ago, got bored and reinvented herself as a show/gymkhana pony, albeit in a low key way.
She's multi-talented as she's also a driving pony, though hasn't been in harness since 2000.
Why did the film company use a Norwegian breed though? We also have a Caspian, surely that type of horse would be more authentic for a desert scene?
