THE man himself, Father Christmas, and his wife Mrs Claus will reportedly be travelling south from the North Pole to visit Bridgwater this December.
Kris Kringle and his other half will jingle all the way to their Christmas Grotto at Bridgwater Town Council's Christmas Fayre, held in the Town Hall from 11am until 3pm on Sunday December 3.
Elsa from Frozen will also make an appearance at the fayre, and has even agreed to help with face painting, and take photos with her most adoring fans.
As usual, the Town Hall will become host to a selection of brilliant stalls selling homemade crafts, Christmas gifts and tasty treats.
There will also be a raffle at the fayre, costing £1 to enter with all proceeds given to the three food pantries operating in Bridgwater.
The following charities were selected as beneficiaries by Town Mayor Cllr Mick Lerry:
- The Local Pantry East Bridgwater
- The Local Pantry South Bridgwater
- Victoria Park Food Pantry
Prizes to be won at the raffle this year include:
- A restaurant voucher for Wild Rocket Restaurant & Bar
- Afternoon Tea at Bar Brunel
- Afternoon Tea at Mercure Hotel Bridgwater
- A dance lesson with Fox King Dance Academy
- Two tickets for a performance at Bridgwater Arts Centre
- A Family portrait Voucher from Timeless Images
