A DAY to celebrate female empowerment and spirituality will take place in Bridgwater this weekend.
Awaken the Goddess, organised by Wild Tribe Events, will bring a range of women-run businesses to The Canalside Conference Centre from 10am on Saturday November 11.
It will feature a range of activities including workshops, meditation, yoga, a sound bath, wreath and flower crown making, and a remembrance day celebration.
The event is the brainchild of sister duo team, Sammy-Jo Bailey and Katie Edwards, who have run successful Pagan & Spiritual fairs for the last two years.
"This is our first women's only event day of this kind and we really want to help give women a day of relaxation, empowerment and bonding," they explained.
"We know attending a new event can be daunting but rest assured you will be in the company of sisters from the moment you walk through the door.
"So whether you want to shop, join in with yoga body parts a'jiggling with no fear of judgement, relax to a soundbath, be uplifted with a female led talk, dive deeper into witchcraft or just relax with a coffee and absorb the day - we've got you covered."
Tickets bought in advance are £3.33 on Eventbrite and will be entered into a £25 gift voucher draw to be used on the day.
Tickets can be purchased on the day for £4.
