THE keenest carnival fans in Bridgwater flocked to the town centre as soon as the day's entertainment began at 10:30am.
Fore Street became especially packed as friends and families congregated to get into the Bridgwater Carnival spirit ahead of the evening procession .
Talented musicians helped to set the atmosphere on the Cornhill Stage, with acts such as Footloose Four performing a fitting soundtrack to the big day.
The fun continued over to the High Street Performance Area, where a variety of dance groups, street performers, and musicians including the Bridgwater Rock Choir amazed all in attendance.
St Mary's Church quite quickly became the obvious chill-out spot for the day, with ample seating and great live music from Somerset Songbirds, and many other local acts.
Angel Place Shopping Centre hosted a variety of acts on a stage outside the now vacant Wilko store. Marvellous Magical Theatre, Quartermaster Shanty Crew, and Krazy Kev & Dinky were just a few of the acts wowing audiences inside.
Bridgwater Sea Cadets performed a memorable musical procession along Angel Crescent, and bizarre and brilliant entertainers were ten-a-penny across Bridgwater.
