A POPULAR British blues band is set to perform at Bridgwater Arts Centre next month.

The Producers formed over 25 years ago and have been at the forefront of the UK blues music scene ever since.

With memorable performances at several festivals and large venues, the band have announced they will stop touring this year.

Bridgwater Arts Centre will host The Producers on October 20 for what will likely be the last chance to catch the British blues band live.

A spokesperson for the Arts Centre said: "They (The Producers) have carried their own brand of blues around the World to great acclaim.

"[They] have been joined on stage, at one time or another, by some special guests, Dave Kelly - Blues Band, Martin Barre - Jethro Tull, Tony McPhee - Groundhogs, and the Ray Charles Brass section with the Raelets at Frances' Cognac Blues Festival.

"We cannot guarantee any special guests at the Bridgwater Arts Centre but we can guarantee a great night of blues."

Tickets will cost just £14 and are available to purchase from the Bridgwater Arts Centre website.
