BRIDGWATER and Albion’s game at Crediton on Saturday afternoon sadly fell foul of the wintery weather and it was called off just before 11am in time to prevent the squad making to journey to Devon.

None of the clubs other sides managed to play on Saturday making it a frustrating weekend all round.

This Saturday the Albion First XV are at home to Newton Abbot who currently occupy eighth position in Regional Two South West and were beaten 22-52 at home by Wadebridge Camels on Saturday afternoon.

When the two sied met in South Devon at the end of September it was ther hosts who ran out 39-13.

This is Albion’s final match before the break for Christmas so everyone will be hoping that they round off 2022 with a victory.

The opening match of 2023 sees Bridgwater and Albion making the short juorney down the A38 to meet local rivals North Petherton on January 7.

Saturday’s postponed match at Crediton is likely to be played on February 5 2023.
