Last week Enmore Park hosted the annual presentation lunch for the Wessex League, a competition involving the Ladies sections of five local golf clubs,

Ladies from from Enmore, Minehead, Burnham and Berrow, Taunton and Pickeridge and Yeovil Golf Clubs joined together to reflect on another successful season, and enjoy each others company at the end of which two presentations were made.

Annette Poynton from Burnham and Berrow presented the trophy to Jill Paul from Taunton and Pickeridge who won the competition for the first time in 12 years.

This was a special occasion for  the league organiser Janet Hambly, herself an Enmore member since 1986, who has stepped down after co-ordinating the competition for the past 24 years.

In recognition and to say thank you for all her hard work Janet Hambly was presented with a gift from the Clubs, by Gwen Cavill the Enmore Club Development Director and Club Captain Elect.
