The new Scott Cinemas was unveiled as part of the long-awaited Northgate Yard's official opening today (Monday, October 24).

Pictures from inside the cinema provide a tantalysing first look at the building and what is on offer inside.

Zac Tucker, general manager of Scott Cinemas was at the opening event along with his colleague Mark Williams.

The cinema has capacity for more than 700 people across its screens, which come equipped with Dolby Atmos sound, digital laser projection, wall-to-wall screens, reclining seats, a VIP auditorium and lounge, and hot food served in a café and bar.

The wheelchair-accessible cinema will offer special screenings at a kid’s club on Saturday mornings and for seniors on Wednesdays.

Scott Cinemas is also hiring for several roles.
