DAVID Thomas William Black, 35, of St Matthews Green, Bridgwater, has been handed two nine-week prison sentences suspended for two years to run concurrently.

Black admitted twice breaching a community order imposed for breaching a non-molestation order

He was ordered not to drink alcohol for 120 days and put under a 12-week curfew order.

JAMES Malcolm Thomas Butcher, 54, of no fixed address, was fined £100 after admitting breaching a domestic violence protection order between September 12 and 13.

NICHOLAS Corns, 60, of Mantle Street, Wellington, admitted speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit on Exeter Road, Rockwell Green, on February 2 this year.

Corns was fined £165 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.

He was handed three penalty points on his driving licence.

RICHARD Neil Hadfield, 49, of Mansfield Road, Taunton, pleaded guilty to driving at 68mph in a 60mph limit on the A303 Ilminster bypass on December 21 last year.

He was fined £385 with a £39 victim surcharge and £90 costs and received three penalty points.

DAWID Plichta, 25, of no fixed address, has been jailed for six weeks after pleading guilty to assaulting by beating a on-duty police officer.

Plichta was also ordered to pay his victim £150 compensation.
