CALLING all Bridgwater singers. The Bridgwater Choral Society is searching for people to sign up and join the Big Sing Day of Choruses from Grand Operas taking place on Saturday, April 12.
The event is held at the Bridgwater Methodist Church and the society wants to fill the church with singers.
Director for the day is Iain Cooper, who is accompanied by the society's John Bodiley.
It will be a day filled with choruses such as Verdi's famous Va Pensiero and the Anvil Chorus from Il Travatore. Excerpts from Lohengrin and Die Meistersingers by Wagner should encourage the community for what should be a fantastic day of singing.
The fee for the day is £10 to include hire of music and drinks and participants are asked to bring a packed lunch,Interested parties should call Sylvia McGuire on 01278-422132
