THE Engine Room in Bridgwater will be hosting a self-funded cultural event celebrating Portugal's Liberty Day on Friday, April 25.
Liberty Day celebrates the end of dictatorship in the country 1974, a day that saw the capitans bring down the Salazar fascist regime. The programme will include an exhibition, films, Portuguese poetry, live comedy and dancing.
