Mrs Joyce Irene Saunders of West Street, Bridgwater died on February 19 at Bridgwater Hospital. She was 79.

The funeral on February 29 at Taunton Crematorium was conducted by Deacon Joy Newbold. Bearers were Peter Saunders (son), Michael Saunders (grandson), Jamie Stewart (granddaughter's fiancé) and Kevin Perry (family friend).

We would especially like to thank the doctors and nurses at Bridgwater Hospital, especially Smith Ward, for taking good care of Joyce throughout her stay, also for the support that the staff gave the family. Grateful thanks to John, Sarah and Kev of Biffens for looking after mum and for all the support given to the family at this very sad time.
