A SERVICE dedicated to conserving the Quantock Hills Area has announced it will be relocating its office to the southern end of the range.
The Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Service will now be located in Fyne Court, Broomfield, allowing the AONB Team to work together from one location for the first time in years.
The move will make it possible for the team to work with partner organisations such as the National Trust and the Forestry Commission.
The office at Fyne Court will enable the team to engage more thoroughly with visitors thanks to the area being an established visitor attraction.
The service consists of staff that work on a broad range of issues such as landscape conservation, footpath maintenance and with local communities on projects that boost environmental, economic and social well-being in the area.
