AN EAST Bridgwater Community School worker celebrated her 50th birthday by asking for charity donations, not presents.
Sally Wright had "great pleasure" in sending the collected money to two charities instead of unwrapping gifts on her landmark celebration.
She gave the choice of PWSA, for which she raised £150, and St Margaret's Hospice, for which she raised £305.
PWSA (UK) is an organisation that raises money for people, like Sally's cousin Fiona, who have Prader-Willi syndrome.
Sally would like to that everyone who donated money to the charities of her choice.
